Basically we have a gasket drawn up - we need someone to verify it is a good fit and also what maximum thickness we can go up to whilst still keeping an OEM fitment....

I'd suggest sending you a few 1mm cardboard samples which you could then build up and build up - I wouldn't recommend going much thicker than 3mm so probably x3 1mm cardboard samples.

In return for your efforts I'd be able to sort you out something on the first ptfe gasket produced and trialled too.

when you say oem fitment you mean still allowing the intake to be fixed in place?

yeah - as in not to disrupt any standard fitting parts/techniques.

on the 172 for instance we could only fit 1.5 and 1mm gaskets due to space constraints and breather setups but on a Nissan Pulsar with lots of space (in certain places!!) we fitted a 5mm gasket. 3mm IMO is optimum performance for your money.

somebody must be willing to help?

We already have the design all I need is to ascertain the thickness... in exchange I will do you the first PTFE gasket once thickness is confirmed at absolute bottom price, not including postage. only means taking your inlet manifold off - saying yeah that is the max thickness you can use and then letting me know - couple of days later you can have a PTFE one on your car.

Bump!

still looking for help on these folks - only need to supply someone with a couple of gaskets to determine thickness then can produce for all!
