KTEC Dump Valve V HKS SSQV

  Clio RS 200 Gordini
Which is better?

They are both similarly priced. The reason why I am doing this is because my TCE is leaking air on acceleration with a loud HISS from the engine bay. Also replacing the filter with a KTEC panel filter and an exhaust system with a LongLife Twin tip Catback system.

Find out from where its leaking rather than throwing money at unwanted parts?

  PH1 loads of boost!
^^^^ Exactly. Bung the standard valve off so it's not used then go for a drive to see if it is still leaking. If the noise is still there then you know the valve isn't at fault, if the noise isn't there then fit yourself a chav valve.

I'll check it tomorrow lads shat weather at the moment don't fancy standing out in the rain.

Also, would it be better to get a recirc valve rather than atmospheric? Will the recirc valve stall the turbo? How does it work exactly?

Recirc valves are no better or worse for the turbo than VTA (atmospheric) valves, but VTA's can effect the drivability of the car when pushing on. With a recirc the dumped air is forced back into the intake and not wasted like it is with a VTA.

If you like the noise then fit a noisey one, in any other case fit a recirc IMO.
