Lifetime for 172 dampers

How long do 172 dampers normally last efore they should be replaced? I know that people have experienced leaking dampers, but presumably they wear out even if you don't have this problem? My car's feeling a little bit baggy and I'm wondering if it's worth spending a couple of hundred to get it back up to full strength.

i did 90k in my 172 and buy then end of it it did feel "baggy" comperd to what it did feel like at 20K it was a 52 plate.

I'm only on about 43k, but it's a 51 plate and 7 years old in November.

Life span depends on loads of things what you accept luck of the draw how ou drive road you drive on age milage etc.
