look what im in the middle of

didnt really want to cut my 172 bumper for the zaust and i had a 182 bumper lying around in need of a respray and a bit or filler.

so i plasic welded over the 2 holes and then filled them. not finished but wiill be in the next few days, i think it myt look oryt. then if i make a mistake with the exhaust cut out i wont mind :)

i dont think any1 will be able to tell when its finished, has anybody else done this?

plastic welded it. Then fibreglassed it. There is alot of filler but most of it will be sanded off. Hopefully it should be ok,

Plastic welding should see it okay, you did it right at least.
 
With the plastic weld and fibre glass, Should'nt be that much filler in there, Will be fine as long as the plastic is not flexed, i.e. a bumper kiss from another car...

Looks a good strart, I might be doing this with a cheap fucked ebay bumper to keep costs down.
