Looking into getting a machine polisher, what's the best starter kit?

Currently looking at giving the car a good detail as it's swirl city at the moment.

Looking at all the detail products it's a little confusing but I know like anything else when you jump into it'l soon make sense.

Is this ok to begin with?

Another vote for the ep 800 fro CYC, though i must admit i have no experience of anything else. After reading good reviews and guides here and on Detailing World I achieved a pretty good enhancement as a noob. With a decent small backing plate and lake country constant pressure pads its especially easy to use.

Thanks. I'm looking at the the DAS-6 and the DAS-6 Pro, are they worth the price or would I just be better off with the Ep800 as you suggested?

depends on how confident you are and what you want out of it I guess.

Most people, as I did, start of with a DA before moving onto a rotary. I'm selling my DA as I've decided to make the move up mainly down to booking onto a paint correction course with a local detailing firm AutoFinesse so have ordered the EP800 in Gally's link
