Loud/ Harsh vibraiting from the front. Ideas please.

  Honda ATR
Hi people,

had my Ph1 172 for a week now and its started to make a loud vibraiting noise from the front and transmits the vibrations into the cabin. It only really occurs on pulling off and hard acceleration. Checked driveshafts, wheel bearing play and rocking the engine to see if its the mounts. But they all seem ok.

I cant quite decide if it's a drive shaft or something like the exhaust manifold nocking.

Ill probably end up changing the dog bone for polybushes but just thought id get some ideas off the fourm. Cheers

Mine turned out to be my top gearbox mount, had lost it's bottom nut.

Not something you can see without taking the whole damn thing out... but for the price, I'd get a new mount for it and check everything's ok.

When the weather picks up, yes mate.

I'm not (and seemingly neither is everyone else) a big fan of standing around in the cold.

I've got something pretty good lined up for photos when it gets a bit warmer, should be cool.

You won't be able to see it with just the battery out, you'll probably have to undo the two bolts holding the mount on, but yea, just take off as much as a possible and have a look.
