Louvred valver bonnet PICTURE

Louvred valver bonnet- row of ten at the RHS of picture are above the chargecooler and filter cone so should allow chargecooler rad heat to rise/be drawn straight out rather than warming up the inlet. The 9 at the front of the bonnet bulge are directly above and further back from the main radiator (right over the front of the inlet manifold) so should promote more air flow through the rad and out, rather than under the car or into the airbox area. Should do the biz at standstill where heatsoak from the main rad is a big problem. Well see once its on!

What did I do myself? Arrange the personal appearance of Jakki Degg? I wish mate. Or the louvres? THey were done yesterday morning at Cool Louvres in Hampshire.

Marcus - £95 including the cutting of the inner skin inside which was needed to do the louvring in those positions.

Si- LOL well I said none too subtly to Jon and Adi that she was definitely the hottest babe in the whole place- maybe she heard! Well, not including Jakki, but out of the rest of them, she was a class act. We kept going over for more of the free vodka samples she and her mate were giving out.

Thats not a bad price really, might have to give them a call, as you can never have to much hot air release in a renault turbo engine bay!!

Simon its while you wait mate! I hacked it over there (near Alton, Hants) from Southend and made it in an hour and a half - and thats in the Fiatwith the Clio bonnet in the boot! Took a couple of hours in the workshop then I drove it home again, all finished. The snail-kitted Clio will be back on the road for a one-day appearance around Essex next Friday then its going into the bodyshop for another 2 or 3 weeks for a load of work. Then I might finally get to drive it after that.
