lowered 35/40mm, on turinis - grinding on full lock

2004 1.2 16v, lowered 35/40mm on springs, 16" speedline turini's

grinding/scratching noise when on full lock and moving, mainly when on an incline but usually does it on a flat surface aswell.

I know for a fact the springs are fitted correctly, all rubber mounts etc greased, just wouldnt expect it to rub on 35mm's?

any ideas?

what offset and width are your Turinis?

maybe need to get spacers as the wheel might be rubbing

Id get spacers, mesure by putting a stright edge across the wheel and mesure the gap between the inside of the arch and the stright edge, if it still rubs take the wheel off and see where it is rubbing and cut the liner for clearance
