lowering t bar

hehe i got a little trick for this too!

21mm socket over the strut top nut then get a big set of mole grips, very very very tightly put them on the top of the socket. then place allen key through the socket and into the top of the shock absorber bar, and twist one against the other!!

simple eh?

Dont do them too tight though - Ive broken a pair of mole grips before - not on the same procedure but similar application. Then again I got a limpet off a rock when I was about 10 - maybe I have strong fingers...

Make sure you get new top nuts on the front before you drive the car.

They have a plastic lock nut insert & shouldnt be re-used.

Unfortunately they are Renault only & if I remember rightly they are about £30 for both sides.

the thing stopping the rear arm is probably zero travel left in the shocks!

so theres no bump stop it could be on????!

Dude u dont want it to bottom out when ur going round a corner! it could put a quick end to all that new paint!

still aint got strut top bolts off, i sanp the alen key in there! thats how seized they are
