Driving along, quite happily and all of a sudden car start to sound like a very rough diesel. Drive it 4/500 yards to pull over, have no idea whats goin on so i get a tow home. Got it to a garage and it turned out a tensioner had pretty much exploded and the belt had jumped 3 teeth with no engine damage!!!!

Not that lucky. My tensioner didn't explode, which didn't cause a belt to jump 3 teeth, which didn't leave me with possible engine damage. I must be the luckiest person alive.
