rs seats go for too much money haha im looking for a pair of cheap 172 cup or dynamique seats! its a £200 van!

went back to the scrappies today and got the matching doorcards for the dash strips and some chrome dynamique interior handles, just waiting on dave getting back to me about the RS seats and ill pick them up too!

I certainly do, been through it all, knackered clutch slave cylinder last month, to eating its own fuel pump a year back! She'll be going in the new year though.

started attacking the interior switches and swapping them over to white LED's

done the central locking and rear heated screen button too..
need to go back to the scrappies and get a set of dynamique dials with the trip computer and the stalk with the button to control it, will then convert them to white LEDs and upgrade to the trip computer while im at it! then lastly the heating control panel which im not looking forward to!

the gear gaitor was all torn and the gearknob badly worn so again a few replacements from the scrappies!

na switches all need to come apart then cut out the old bulb and solder in the new ones, bit fiddly! but ive never done it before so was just taking my time
Hang on, i've never noticed any bulbs for the window switches! That's very cool. I'll have to investigate

Went to the scrappies and picked up a set of Dynamique clocks so red needled, silver surround etc bit nicer looking but ultimately they also have a trip computer so now all I need is a stalk with the button on the end and ill have one too! stripped them an swapped out the LED's and job was a good one. I kept the screen orange as ive seen a few people changed them to white and they are a bit bright!

The way should of been. Orange just looks terrible in comparison.
Good shout on red dials too. Swapped my dCi ones to red and used a blue surround from a Cup.

You should start to sell the LED converted dials or convert them for people that hate electrics @Martin_172
I'm sure there would be a few people that would love to have their gauges and buttons a different colour! They look the dogs danglies mate!

cheers, its not a bad job tbh once you have the dials out the car, infact the electric window switches were more fiddly to change the lights! assuming these stand the test of time for a few miles I might start doing some for people!
Today since i had a set of dynamique clocks i decided it would be worth while trying to get the trip computer working so another trip to the scrappies i grabbed a wiper stalk with the trip computer button on the end and swapped it over and crossed my fingers...
Sorted, took it a little test drive to see how it performs
nearly 300 miles to just under quarter of a tank lol

Nothing much been happening, I was abroad for a week so dumped it at my mates garage and they changed the belts and water pump, finally no more chirp chirp as im driving down the road!, I gave it a coolant change and flushed out the coolant bottle as it was filthy

The drivers side front damper was seized solid, no suspension at all on that side, I was putting it off as I fancied a set of coilovers and nice wheels but they noticed when doing the belts that the damper had snapped!!! So attacked it today, this is how it came off the car....

Nice!! I've seen them do that on Scenic's but not on a Clio. That's still got some miles in it yet! @Martin_172 ?

I'm not sure if they are the same as the V6? They usually come with a full length parcel shelf too but most are missing by now
