mbar?

  clio sport 182
right iv just tried doing this reading on my rs tuner im a lil bit confused,to get a reading to see if theres any airflow restrictions which one do i use, absolute pressure or manifold absolute pressure, and where on the graph does it tell me my revs so i know where to find the reading at 2k and the reading at 7k to find the difference?

Manifold absolute pressure is what it's all about.
Can You see how the green line drops down between 2000rpm and 7000rpm ?

yeah thats all good but where on them graph lines does it tell you what revs you ar doing,as henk said test is from 2k to 7k i cant look at my laptop while driving lol

i dont fink im being very clear about this lol,ermm...thats what i have done already, but the graph is showing the mbar pressure and its going up and down etc but i dont know what revs i was doing at these points as the graph has no rev indications etc, maybe im being blonde about this, like for instance at one point for example the line is sayin 180 odd mbar but i dont know what revs i was doing at this particualr point

OK
From the top:
When You go on the road, set everything up, and start loging.
When the ride is over press, Save Data Log and select "togle all" to save all engine parameters (not only those 15 You were watching while loging)
Now You can easily preview all engine parameters, choosing which will be displayed on the graph.

lol i was being blonde i just realised b4 your last post that there was a tick box for engine revs lmao, this is what i was getting so confused about

Are You sure You reading this figures right ?
Check my graph ^ I've got 1005,8 at 2000rpm and 976 at 7000rpm

This is no good :/ You need to make a run on 3 gear from 2000rpm to 7000rpm on WOT (wide open throttle) do not play with acceleration pedal, floor it all the way till red line.

Check it for Yourself. Run RS Tuner, select "load log" and select the log file. Than select the parameters (Engine RPM/Manifold Absolute Pressure/Throttle position/Vehisle Speed) There is nothing like what I posted ^

ah right ok,does the wide open throttle mean just floor it?do i have to start recording data from 1st gear to 2nd to 3rd or start recording from 3rd and stop at redline?

plus from that graph i no where my gear change was but the line seems to be iratic through flooring it,i know in 2nd gear i didnt play with the throttle but that graph says i did

It's hard to keep it steady on the graph :) But when You flor it it should be relatively steady. I do mine on the way home from work :) Just find the right moment and a piece of road long enough :) and make the WOT run.
Later at home You can easily browse for the piece of graph You want (it will always look similar to mine ^^ :) )

The graph will not show You the actual gear, ECU doesn't know it, RS Tuner doesn't know it. But it's not hard if You know what You were doing on the way (long breaks on idle usually mean traffic lights etc.)

wiked thort so just wanted to make sure lol, well ill try again tomoz,so like i said do i start the live data from when i get into 3rd gear or 1st-2nd-3rd then stop?

go easy on 1st, 2nd, just to about 2500rpm
punch in 3rd, revs go to 2000rpm, and go WOT all the way to the top :)

It's not a question of when You start logging, You can even start it on Your drive way when the car is cold. After You save the Live data, even if the file coveres 30min of drive. You can easily find the WOT run within the data You collected
