Megane 225 engine + 182 box ?

Does anyone no what is needed to run a 182 box an a 225 engine ? I saw one in the for sale section ready modified but no info on what was needed

megane internals, head etc into the F4R engine, the castings on the F4RT block are different

I read on a for sale thread that the 225 engine was modified to run a 182 box. But I guess all the 225 parts that you mentioned would be easier

You have to re-drill the megane block to accept the 182 box mounting holes. Iirc you need to swap the sump over as well.

It sounds like more work than using all the f4rt internals in the Clio engine

It's probably not when you consider piston rings, end bearings, gaskets, head bolts, cambelt and fluids etc as apposed to a sump gasket and drilling/tapping etc

you need a adaptorplate not drilling, the ND0 box is so muck bigger then a JC5

If the box is smaller than the engine how can you drill new holes in the air? Or is it possible to drill new holes in the engine?
