megane brake setup

Okay so I maybe breaking up a megane coupe 1.6 16v and i noticied the brake sie is considerably bigger. mine currently been 238mm and that been 280mm. the caliper piston is the exact same size, but would the mountin bolts line up with the holes?

I think your saying the coupe has 238mm disk and your 172 has 280mm disk?

I believe not.

Megane's have different mounting caliper holes than yours as far as I know. Your best bet is the 259 from a 1.4-1.6 16v or clio williams

He means the other way round. He has a 1.2 brakediscs and wants the 280 from the coupe

When you did the conversion, why didn't you change the stub axles as well?

budget build lol. plus theres not a great deal of benefit worth doing it.
