Minimum Brake Disk Thickness

Sorry if posted elsewhere but done a quick search and no results, Managed to borrow a digital micrometer tonight and gonna check all 4 disks, I def need rear pads but wanna see if I need disks too

Need minimum thickness for fronts AND rears on a full fat Nov 03 172

could be wrong but pretty sure its around 17-18mm new and anything under 6mm is in need or replacement

172 standard disc thickness is 24mm new, not sure on the min

just checked all 4 disks on car

fronts are 23.8mm so ok (only replaced these last august 8k miles ago)
rears are 7.5mm with even wear and no outer lip/ridge - these are originals from new but no idea what minimum is

anybody confirm rears ?

Ive got 36k service in 3k / 3months so if Im currently near minimum I may change rears with pads now in one go

172 standard disc thickness is 24mm new, not sure on the min

^^^^ 24mm new is right on the front , 21.8mm minimum .

Rear is 8mm new and 7mm minimum

cheers guys, v much appreciated
remeasured rears and their nearer 7mm than 8mm so gonna change them now with pads, 36k service in summer and 1st mot november so cant see point in doing pads now only to do disks within 4-5 months anyway
having them bled anyway......................damn might as well have goodridge lines too..............................
might as well go 4 pot...................
