Mixing up shampoo and water for lubricant with a clay bar??

I've not got QD left for claying and David at carwash n wax is on holiday so i'm kinda stuck...

If someone could be helpful enough to tell me how to mix some up that'd be ace!!

I think it's not really something that has a ratio as different shampoos are thicker than others, as long as the clay can glide then you should be fine.

I stick 2 or 3 Megs gold glass sized capfulls in in a 500ml canyon spray bottle

My mate Johnny was a good lad n brought round some megs detailer for me to use..as i wasn't sure about mixing up some lube for....

I use a similar ratio as when washing the car, often just getting a fresh bucket and slapping a load on with a mitt whilst claying.

As above I pre-wet the panel with wash mitt and a Bucket of car wash first aswell.
