MK1 172 remap

I have a full exhaust system on the car, decat, ITG maxogen and I am fitting some matched manifolds in the next week or so.
Is it essential to get a remap or will the car still run fine without one.
Would I need the remap to achieve any small gains?

car will still run without a remap but mapping the car after the breathing mods will get the most out of them mate.

you will still some gains without the map but should get a few more with one.
