Mk1 engine swap

Hey there,

I've got a 1.4 currently and I want to upgrade it to a bigger sized engine ( with eventually a supercharger ).

I have seen some people talking about a megane or clio 1.8 but i never found someone that actually swapped it.

Anyone with experience or advice?

To chuck a 1.8 in its very straight forward. Engine/loom/ecu

Should be easy enough to find one too

Check out the clio 1.8 16v facebook page. should find what your after pretty easy

Surely a F4R from a 172/182 is a better option? Can get a donor 172 now for about £250.

Well i have been looking but isn't the 2liter quite a bit bigger? And cause its from a later model i figured its a bit harder to swap the electronics? But then again im just guessing 😅
