mk2 ph2 172 wheels on Ph1

Hi people,

I am thinking of buying some mk2 phase2 172 rims for my mk2 phase 1 172 (hope I havent lost u there)

Do they fit straight on? I assume they do as there are very little differences between the cars but wanna check.

Yeah they will fit no probs, quite a few people have done it on hear over the years.

Ideally you will want to use spacers to counter the increased offset.

im a bit dumb, but will they fit without spaces? Will they feel/look wrong without spacers?

How much are spacers and where do you get them from?

Wheels don't sit far enough out.
One of the rears (can't remember which) fouls the arch liner.
