Mk2 RS front Hubs/mk2 16v front hubs

Whats the difference between the two? basicly can I use the mk2 16v hub on my RS, using 172 disks and pug 406 Brembo Caliper (bit like the mk1 boys do)

driveshafts are fatter on an RS hub IIRC, ive used 172 shafts and hubs on my mk1 as williams/16v shafts dont fit into the 172 hubs, they are too thin....

you'd have to change the shafts too, but then they would be too short i think because the 172 has the wider track...

Sounds like it would be easier to fabricate a caliper holder to fit the Rs hub.
