momo boss kit which way round does this go???

Currently installing a 182 momo boss kit and omp steering wheel in my twingo. The twingo uses the same boss kit as the 182.

I have the main part secured as shown here:

This metal ring needs to go on now but I'm unsure which way; with the metal tab inwards or outwards :s

will this ring be flush with the steering wheel? If so, the centre plug for the omp wheel won't have enough room to be pushed in the centre.

Does it even serve a purpose? Is there any terminals to connect it to? I don't think there is.

You need a ph1 stalk to keep the horn for after market wheels on clio's as far as I know.

I think that's just if you're putting a horn button in the middle.

I've never fitted mines.

Its a twingk mate, the horns on a stalk anyway. The centre horn button does not fit due to the metal ring on the boss kit :s

So you would just mount the wheel to the boss without having the metal ring in between?
