More noise from the 197..

Wanting a little more noise from my 197 without spending stupid money on exhausts etc.

Was thinking about a BMC induction kit or removing the acoustic valve (doubt it though).

Have also looked into removing the centre section but seems to give a flat spot so that's a no no.

Any other ideas to give the car a bit more of a note to it?

I'd remove the centre section. Heard of flat spots from having a decat but not removing the centre silencer.

Strip out the rear, makes them alot louder!

Just wanted some more grunt from it, think im going for a BMC so that should hopefully do the trick!

cantre section or decat causes a flatspot on the 197's? or does both? and how noticable is it?
not being an arse or anything just interested?
do you think its likely to be the same on 182's?

yes ive had 2 197 both have a flat spot one with no centre section and one with no second cat and middle box

Yeah, seems the 197/200 is very sensitive with its exhaust system.
