Ordered a new condenser thanks Mossy. I’ll have to order a new dryer and radiator at some point as well!

Condenser arrived, won’t be fitting it for a while yet but it’s absolutely the right one! Top work finding that bud thank you! Good bye horrible scabby condenser unit! What amazing value!

Good for you buddy and glad to have helped you out.
Bargain that, i wonder if it will fit my dci?
When I was doing my research it seemed a lot of Renaults used a very similar condenser and with a bit of cross referencing of part numbers confirmed it.

Next job was the rusty fastener for the wing and top bumper fixings:

Also found this arch liner on eBay apparently of a 182? It took a bit of working out how it fits and I’m convinced it’s not off the sport range:

Had a fastener on the left that didn’t fit anywhere? But the rest was all good, so it will stay :)

Top work looks good, I assume that if I change the rad and air con rad I will need to have the air con re gassed and replace all the coolant ?

Thanks Chris and yes you will. Still got mine to do tbh. Coolant only arrived today at 4pm.

Excellent work mate, looks Bob on!

Does the 182 and phase 1 172 share the same radiator and AC gubbins? Anyone know?

Thank you and sorry not sure about the radiator but I would be surprised if the AC condenser would be different.

Did you replace the little O rings on the AC pipes mate?

I've just whipped my condenser and drier out so I'll get the above ordered

Coolant back in but turned into a bit of bOstard due to me not lining up for bonnet catch after refitting!! So bonnet stuck down solid fast with zero effect from the lever!
Tried normal trick of someone else operating the lever and me lifting/moving the front bonnet edge but nothing!
So I luckily found a post by @Louis @Archtronics (thanks you 2) and removed the front bumper leaving the grill behind (tapped it off with a rubber mallet).
Once bumper off you can see the catch mechanism middle top of the grill. I simple pushed in a long flat screwdriver and placed it up to the main catch centre lever that drops into the slam panel hole (has the spring around it), I tapped end of the screwdriver with a hammer against it and voila the bonnet popped open :)

So first time I have had to remove a bumper to do a coolant change:

New coolant and also temporarily refitted my induction kit to give me maximum room in order to get to the bleed valve:

No leaks and radiator fan comes in when it should :)

Trophy's are looking good Paul 👍. How many cars do you have on the drive at the moment? Still after a 250?
Thanks Paul 👍 yes I still quite like the 250’s.
Nice job dude.
Clipping that little rear arch liner makes such a difference doesn’t it. 🙂
Yes great idea, so thanks 👍
I like the rear arch "thing". Any more info on that?
Thanks 👍 very easy to do. Drill 6mm holes and fit one of these through:

Do you have a link for the bolts to attach the fan to the radiator pls mate? Had a search but can’t find any.
