My 260bhp Clio mod!

  Evo
looking nice ben. did you do it yourself mate? Presume it's just holes into to the inductions hose and press button when required? how do you make sure you're not putting in too much;

"double shot of nos blew the welds on the intake" ;)

Progressive controller supplies engine with varying amounts of nitrous dependant on RPM, in other words the lower the rpm the less nitrous to keep the internals safe.

And its nothing like fast & furious lol, my floorpan doesnt fall out when i use it :p

This is cool! Great to see something different! I think it would be alot better than itb's as u can use I as u need/want it which won't distroy the MPG unlike itb's would.. Little bit cheaper fitted aswell ;) I think this is the best value mod ATM!

Love it!

looks a tidy installation. you can buy kits for cheaper, but theyre s**te, and you will not fit it right.

a friend in NZ uses nitrous like we do petrol, 6 induvidual sprays into the inlet manifold plus a 2nd setup which bungs it in with the fuel too. or something like that....

nice one for having the balls to do it, thourght there would have been more haters tbh!!

Even though you say it will last a while.I think maybe 10 second blast would only last me 2 days once i saw an M3 or somthing on the road...lool

wouldbe great fun that lol...me brother had an ax gti with nos along with lots of other mods it was 130 bhp...50 shot of nitrous! the lad he bought it off said it would kill mr2 turbos etc lol was about same speed as mine without it

You're lucky that 50shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake.

Have you read the thread? ;)

having now read the thread I can't see (unless i'm being blind) where anyone else has made the same incredibly witty F&F quote as me. So I'm not entirely sure what your point was, either way, I had a chuckle.

I thought the use of NOS on the road was illegal though I am willing to be corrected?

Google is my friend: Adrian Flux will insure cars fitted with NOS and it is legal for road use.

:)

I believe you have to have some sort of sticker/emblem on the car to show that you have nitrous oxide for people like the fire brigade incase of an accident.

Fair play for being different, wonder how long the engine will last though!

Says on WON site the stickers is not required but will help emergency services if there is an accident to show them there is a container of compressed oxidiser.

I stand corrected! But tbh I'd have a sticker on my car to help the emergency services potentially help me! :) I wouldn't want to risk other peoples lives trying to save me with them not knowing that there was something explosive in the car.

Stripping weight is the best for £ vs Bhp
