I like the colour coding and renaultsport seats but im not keen on the other mods

nice car mate, im just not keen on that massive spoiler, or the front grill, y didnt you colour code the door handles aswell??

i like the speaker grills though where are they from?

and your gunna get some stick for those 2.0 16v badges on the side!

Right to answer the first batch of questions,

I got the 2l badges free, and liked them as they were silver, I put them on before I ever tried colour coding and glued them on so I cant get em off!

Never been round the ring but would love to do so, my mate brought it back as a gift when he went, so I thought id try it on the fuel cap to see if it looked good, I thought so.

Im going to colour code the door handles now m8, I never noticed them before, thanks!

And finally the speaker grills are not grills at all......I got some foliatec blue carbon stuff, took the speaker covers off and moulded them around it, thats the mod I was most impressed with, thanks for the comment!

sorry but i think its horrible., far too many bits and bobs stuck on, less is more and all that. the lights covers look utter gash, and the car looks cheap and nasty.

interior is nice though!

Less maybe more, but then whats the point of having nothing on your car? Takes away the whole essence of modding and indiviuality doesnt it?

LOL, ive heard surfboard/ironing board, but then some people say it looks like a rally look, which is what I was going for. In all honesty ever mod I have got was cheap thats why they are on, ive tried to do a budget mod job really as im a student and put all my money into buying it outright. It cost me £50 inc. colour coded for the spoiler, with brake light, which was cheap as chips so I got that! <SCRIPT language=javascript>

Spoilers crap get rid and get a cup spoiler, colour coding looks good take the daft stickers off, I dont like the grill or te number plate surrounds but apart from that looks good!

fair enough mate, but instead of buying cheap bit could of put all the money together and got some different mods,

the 2.0 16v badges are questionable, even if they were free. you can get plain silver ones off ebay for cheap!

basically you just admited that your car was cheap. Modded with things that are cheap. Thats nowt to be proud of. Some of the stuff looks ok (ie the wheels you havent yet changed).

If you like it then go for it but my mate has done the same as you and for about 6 months it was great but then after a while he thought it was a bit of an embarassement being all mix & match etc. Granted youve got the RS seats there which are definitely a positive mod but i think youve got overbored with the gearstick gaiter, speaker grilles, sticker on the trim, painted penny box.

No probs, in all honesty I didnt want to spent fortunes on new stuff, then pay to get em painted and fitted, as loads of my mates have spent thousands on thier cars and will never get it back, whereas all my stuff was really good bargains ive found over the year and painted/fit them myself.

Buying a cup spoiler will cost nearly as much as all my mods put together! LOL

I have changed the wheels mate, gone from 15" priveledges with the funny rounded spoke bits, to 16" renaultsports!

Remove the 2.0 badges and shopping list from the side, put the OE spoiler back on and really, really get rid of those headlight covers.

Other than that its a nice looking 5 door.

My car is not cheap, the mods I have sourced were cheaper than they should have been, im proud that I have saved money. Gaiter was to colour code, so were speaker carbon covers, and the penny box is also blue carbon mate, not painted! Number plate surrounds were a birthday gift, so like the jumper u always get, I put them on!

2l badges are glued on, so cant take em off, my car being a priveledge model had no spoiler whatsover, absolutely nothing, thats why I got this one. Thanks for the comments.

mate,i respect u for what u have set out to do,and u have acheived it.the interior is fine to me.wheels/colour coding/exhaust etc are all fine.ppl on here just dont like "add ons" such as stickers/light screens etc.I was like u.my first car had things like eyebrows etc....But, as you take peoples advice and listen to their constructive criticism, u will always benefit from them.On your next car, do the basics and if u cant afford them at the time, save.(trust me,its worth it!!!!) get wheels,lower it,get a nice exhaust/filter,colour code things,get clear indicators etc.These will make your car "individual" but still give it a nice look as opposed to an OTT look. Fair play to u tho!

Chav-tastic....it could be good mate, just a bit 2 chav for me. Not keen on th grilles and that spoiler is horrendous. But each to his own and if your happy then thats cool.

considering the effort put into finding bargains (and having been a student myself i know how hard it can be to find the money - and i didnt even have a car back then!) and the fact youve done all your own colour-coding, I say well done!

I mean who cares what anyone else thinks? you have a car that brings a smile to your face and thats all that matters

There are some nice mods on there mate, some that I wouldnt personally do but I think its a nice looking 5 door.

Besides who cares what anyone else thinks, if youre happy with it then just enjoy it!

The colour coding is good (need the handles done too though), the seats are a classy mod. i dont mind the grill or the lights, thats how my car started off.

however, dont like the light covers one bit, . the 2.0L badges are seriously wrong, very misleading too. the spoiler just looks to big imo. since u seem to be proficent at spraying why not go to halfrauds and spray ur 16v badges silver. i sure if u made an effort no matter how much glue was on there they would come off. thats the worst bit about it i think.

loving the headlight grill and the mesh grill and the k-tec stick, it goes well it think (blinged up). Might do it myself after looking at yours
