Here are a few pics of it from over the years before its retire-ment April 2009

6 years of ownership May 2010.

Bought this from Corby, N'hants, with 1 owner from new, 58000 miles on the clock with FRSH. 1 owner for 9 years. It was an absolute beauty. Looked for 6months for the right one.

It was totally standard when I bought it.

I then had it lowered.

I then had a mongoose fitted to it with piperX, and a set of Renault 19 wheels sprayed in black with a silver lip, with 195/45/15 Toyo Proxes tyres. Awesome handling, but f**king teeth chattering ride. But I liked

Retired it for bodywork to be honest before it gets any worse.

Sills and rear left arch, and rust on the arch liner lip area.

Other than that the rust is ok.

Figured if I didnt make an effort to get it sorted car would be for scrap heap in a couple of years.

last pic its looking very nice, tasteful mods imo, not a fan of the 19 wheels if i am honest though. Great car like mk1's loads, would wish I had the money spare to buy a valver one day. fingers crossed

Must admit I do have a soft spot for phase 2 wheels.

Theyre just flippin heavy! Saying that R19 wheels aint much better!!

Oh yes they are....

Standard phase 2's or speedlines in black with silver rim are the only ones i would go for on the valver tbh.
