Cheers for looking!!

looks great, tho you should look into getting a harness bar on the cage, in an accident the strut brace could just rip out, unless its welded in?

looks good but i would get those harnesses off the rear strut as thats currently uber dangerous

i would weld a harness bar in if i were you matey

edit* dave you beat me to it lol :rasp:

looks awesome mate, lovely track car.

if memeory serves tho, attaching ur harnesses to the strut brace is a serious no-no, use the mounting point for the previous rear seatbelts.

if u crash and the chassis twists, u cud be crushed.

*edit: beaten to it, lol*

Yeah it's not the best solution, could do with a harness bar, short term solution til i figure summin out!

a welded in harness bar would be your best bet matey as edde posted up some info the other day about the dangers of using the seatbelt attachment points as well :( its something to do with the angle of the harness, it should be level at the back instead of dropping down to the seatbelt points iirc

Thought i'd just point out the gash lighter/cut off switch is a joke, forgot all about it hahaha doh!

Yeah i've worked out thats about the right height, just need something a bit more sturdy, i'll figure summin out

The angle is ok for those harnesses but the brace would rip straight off in an impact where you needed your harnesses.

Looks sweet as matey. Where did you have the ceramic coating done and how much was it?

Camcoat did it for me mate, if you search them on google should come up, when i get my inlets matched i'm sending them off to be done as well!

Cost was about £180 for full race spec coating and cleaning as it was second hand manifold, well worth it, drastically lowered engine bay temps!

good idea with the 6 point cage mate, love what youve done with the cold air feed, very nice!! could i ask, where did you get the ring sticker from?

Wash your mouth out Mikey, you can only have a ring sticker if you have been round it! I made that mistake for a few weeks, you can get them on ebay ;)

Cheers for the comments chaps!

Got the sticker from the petrol station at the ring when i went at easter, got one when i went last year but c0cked it up when i put it on!

Nah not Mark cup's old ones, got them from ebay about year ago, £50 with tyres, so for track rims they're perfect!

Heres a pic of me going around the karussel at easter..

ya fag, lose the engine cover......... it has no place on a Cup ;)

Looking good John. Am I going mad, or did you already have a cage in it? Or had it been taken out for spraying?

John looking good mate.

Will be good to see the cage in.

I've welded in a harness bar to my half cage. Makes them even more secure, and give u lots of space in back.

I know ur harnesses are only temperary, but u need to push the ends back through the metal buckle to firmly secure them too.

:approve:
