Hi all, finally got round getting round to getting some better pics now the weather is better!

Got alot of haters when i posted this last week, but the pics were crap tbh. Coilovers taken off, eibach pro kit fitted, new m sport wheels with runflats and a tidy up. Hope you like.

De-chromed, with a black rear splitter & 19" Spiders that would great. Like this in fact:

At the moment, it unfortunately looks a bit 'Cat D' due to the e90 wheels and Silver bits.
 
My race team boss has the above spec 535d in grey, looks very nice and goes well too!

TBF, your car would just look better if it was standard. Why green lights and tiny wheels?
 
Aren't they M-sport wheels off a 3 series? If not they look similar and I've never seen those wheels on a 5 series. Don't likethe rear valance. Interior looks good.

yes mate off a 335d m sport, latest one!

also the rear diffuser is just silver until the bumpers get painted next week, hence no fog lights or washer covers etc.....

it now had a chrome grille on the front too as imo it looks so much better. will get more pics soon. also what section does this belong in? i looked at all the others and i couldn't decide. please move.

535i, also, i know m sport wheels but tbh every business man and his dog have an m sport with the same old MV2's and i want it to stand out a little from the rest, i do like them dont get me wrong but then it will be just another m sport, i know thats not a bad thing as they're epic in every sense of the word possible.

the wheels are 17" so theyre not exactly tiny, anything over 18" and imo everything is comprimised. the ride, not so much handling, no comfort, also expensive tyres! dont get me wrong the the rft's aren't cheap!!!!!!!

also there is no green lights, they are white LED, the inside of the headlamps is a smoked grey/black colour and this is just how my Fujifilm see's it.

Are you sure it's not an attempt to make people think you actually have an M5? But in reality anyone like me who knows there cars will know its far from an M5 and think how sad your life must be if you want people to think you have an M5 when really you don't? :);)
 
M Badge is terrible, wheels look like comedy biscuits and that silver diffuser looks a bit Brian Spilner.

Shame because I love these.

I think the problem with the wheels for me is the size and offset,

They sit far too far in and look lost in the arches..

Looks nice mate, but needs bigger wheels! 18's fill the arches nicely without looking like a drug dealer.

Front end with the black grilles look awesome
 
Get rid of the pram wheels,the rear diffuser,and the badge and replace with proper standard stuff.Oh and you need the double arm 19" spider alloys.
I like the interiors on these there awsome.
 
I know you're getting a hard time but it's a lovely looking motor!

Shame the wheels look like you've had them stolen by some northern gypsy and then couldn't afford to replace them.

let me get this straight, the car is a 1 owner car and has never even been near an accident in it's life. it's a top of the range spec with nav, bluetooth, heated seats, everything barring xenon headlights as these were later LCI spec.

all i can say is i would rather be in this beast anyday over my old shitty 172 :cool: i was a fool to buy the 172 after having nothing but trouble with the s**t 182 i bought before that, i dont know what i used to see in them as tbh there just a clio with a bodykit and tbh wasnt even that quick! maybe for the first 2 weeks? got smoked by plenty of diesels!

oh anyways, thanks for the criticism! i love it and thats all that matters! it's funny when you have nicer more expensive cars you get MORE criticism than if it was a old ph1 shed but i guess its a clio forum uh!

i'll head back over to the bimmer club now where we can talk in our german dilect, about ncs expert and inpa and what not. :butt:
 
You've put 17s on a big barge, they're way too small.....they're for a 3 Series, not 5 Series.... Therefore they look wrong. And your plate shows it as a 520i on a HPI. This is why you're being criticised....
 
lol yes it is a 520i, 170bhp to be precise :D

i did have 20's on it before but the ride is terrible. it's for the exact same reason you guys with the 172's dont run 18's.

they may look wrong to your eyes but its a matter of opinion, i like it. i just cant see how a car like this can get 99% criticism. its fookin beautiful.
