my exhaust fell off....

i was driving about earlier and my car suddenly started to sound like it had a cheap chavvy exhaust on. so i got home had a look and my exhaust is nearly scraping on floor (just on one side tho?) could it just be a bracket or joint or something? also does anyone know a good cheap garage around wakefield?
