Silver on the turinis would look better or Porsche oyster grey iirc..
I would have preferred a silver but these have just been freshly powder coated before I got them.Silver on the turinis would look better or Porsche oyster grey iirc..
It was indeed from what I’ve been lead to believe. Was that marks old car
I think so mate, needs a few bits sorting on it mainly the cheap coilovers to start with.Yes a very nice example that is. Good to see its landed with a caring owner like it deserves 👍.
Yeah loads but no one has turned up with the cash as yet! Had a forum member planned for yesterday evening and someone else today but one backed out last minute and the other was a no show.Had any interest in the BG yet? I'm guessing the inferno has had an owner or two since Mark then?

It’s a shame to see it just sat there to be honest when someone could be getting the use out of it!
I think the guy I brought it from was the person who got it from @Mbeau as he sent me the thread link for it.
That nut wasn't actually loose like that, was it?Spent some time on the Inferno this afternoon, mainly to look at the camber issues on the cheap coil overs as seen in pic below.

And here lies the problem… Cheap!!
I managed to get the camber bolt adjusted and nipped up tight so hopefully I won’t get any issues. I did the other side also to match but will need to get an alignment check at some point. I’ve posted the black Turini’s in marketplace to fund a new suspension setup though, I’m thinking b14s but recommendations welcomed though.
I also took some time to carry out a couple other changes. The shortest stumpy ariel I’ve ever seen which offers zero radio signal replaced with a cheap halfrauds jobbie.

Finally the mod everyone loves to hate… Ph1 lights!

For the 1st time I’m not completely sold on them! Loved them on the Monaco and the BG but against the orange I’m not convinced.
I’ve also decided that I’m going to remove the stainless decat Ashley exhaust system in favour of the Milltek which is currently fitted on the BG.
More updates soon…
The guy I got it from said it was just on shocks and springs 🤷🏻♂️Think it had b14 when Mark owned it or was just on springs?!?
Lights look crap imo 👍
No mate, I just got the pic from the other side to show the non damaged camber guide. That nut wasn't actually loose like that, was it?
Yeah ktec ones I believe. The previous owner told me that the shocks fitted were leaking and b14 weren’t available from ktec so he had to get these in time for his mot! How true that is I don’t know! Hopefully my 2nd set of turinis sell an then I’ll use the funds for suspension upgrades, This will include new coilovers, pms mounts and brace along with a whiteline arb.Are they the raceland/ktec coilovers? Load of shite they are.
Maybe in person they look better, can't decide if it blends in too much..
Wicked car though.
Great car, (i need to say that as a fellow infernal owner) lights not doing it for me TBH.
They do look better in person than in a photo I must admit but like I said the chrome blob on the standard lights does my head in. I don’t think FK euro lights would be any better tbh? Those lights looked great on the BG, also agree not a massive fan on the Inferno, to much blend imo. Loving the local AV plate
They are the best looking imo but the deal on the 2118s has fallen through due to the op wheels being damaged and me not being able to handle running damaged wheels. The hunt for a swap or sale continues…You said decent wheels. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤮
I hope the cars not too broken mate.
A fair bit yeah but a lot of messers too, Surprised it’s still here tbh!!Have you had much interest in the bg
Mine also is a pioneer, a DEH8400BT to be precise. It’s the only brand headunit I’ve ever used as it has wide background colour selection. What head unit you got? I've just swapped my alpine for a pioneer and could do with the stalk controls now.
Do you have a link for the connects2 thingy?Mine also is a pioneer, a DEH8400BT to be precise. It’s the only brand headunit I’ve ever used as it has wide background colour selection.
I don’t unfortunately as I purchased it through a local car audio shop where my mate works but if you see the pic above and search the ctsrn005.2 number and the pioneer patch lead I’m sure you’ll find it 👍🏻Do you have a link for the connects2 thingy?
