My Liquid Yellow 182 - UPDATE
Its been a while since ive posted anything on my 182 so with the weather being a bit better recently I decided to give it a good detail and to show a bit of progress. This is how it looked a few weeks ago after a quick wash (Pic taken on mobile)
Some Upgrades
Shortly after this it had its 48k service at Renault, I also asked about getting the cambelt and aux belt changed with them aswell...needless to say they quoted stupid money so after a quick search around JMS Tuning came to the rescue and I had both belts changed by them. I also though it was about time the LY had a better looking ride hieght! So JMS also supplied and fitted some V-Maxx coilovers, a massive improvement! They also fitted a Yozza sport decat for me as well which my brother had recently taken off his 182, so hats off to the guys at JMS for the great work! The drive home was awesome and the car felt totally transformed, I also had no choice but to listed to my new exhaust note seeing I needed my radio code (which was at home) to use my radio as the battery had been disconnect during the cambelt change, but i was certainly not complaining!
Cleaning Time
I had been slowly collect various cleaning products over the winter months ready to use once the weather got better and the weekend finally came for me to put them to good use. No during pictures unfortunaly but these were the result after a 2BM wash, clayed, AG SRP, AG EGP and AG HD wax. Wheels were cleaned with bilberry and tyres dressed with Megs hot shine, and the interior got a good going over too.
After this I popped to my mates to help him out with claying his Golf GTI for the first time. While I was there the sun showed its face and the LY paint started doing its thing in the sun :approve:
After this I went to get some more pics of the 182:
More updates to come very shorty C & C welcome!
