My Mk3 Progress Thread

I have pics of them on and i will say and Brembo/frosty/Mikey will vouch that they do looking f**king mint ! But im just not hapy with the way they sit and the gap left on the line of the bumper.

Wouldent say there loose but once you tighten up the 3 retaining screws the two pin that go into the quarter panle pop out so you have to leave the screw kinda loose and its annoys me !!!

get a propper effect of them lights the car needs to be at least resonable they do look s**t when there clean n the cars dirty bud, but i bet if the cars spotless n you put them on they will look champion lol
 
dont think i like the aftermarket ones dean:dapprove: Standard looks just right for the car imo. needs lowered though

They do look want when there clean and cars dirty but still need to refit them and see if i can get them to sit right this time or there going back !!

Lights are going back next week once postage arrangments are made !

On a plus side sent away a set of Brake Lines to Goodridge today for them to make me a set of Braided ones as a supossid Specialist hasnt bothered there arse to get back to me about them !
 
mate im not usually a fan of mk3 none sports but that looks wicked! love the inside and the outside looks really really good. fair play bud.

Yeah fitted it today, the one for the 138 is slightly different. Not really an easy fit, need to take the battery out and all the plastic stuff around it.

Will get some pics and vids up later.

I dont believe it!! Thats actually my old Mk3 sitting next to you at FCS!!!! She was a 1.4 with the SX kit but I never got round to doing any mods on her cos of an ongoing problem with the engine management and emissions systems. I now have a Volcano Red 1.4 with an SX kit!!

I love your car mate, and big credit for all the work done on her. She looks fantastic and makes me miss the pearl black paint :(
 
Yeah i moved mine round the where yours and the other Mk3 were sittin so i could see how low it was compaird to standard lol ! will be at FCS again this year lookin diffrent ne way !

Cheers mate glad to see you like it, Peral Blacks great when its clean but hard to keep that way. Love how it was barket at the show but looks clean in pics !

I was actually gonna knock on your window and ask you about the lowered suspension cos I wanted pointers etc lol. I will be there myself this year again! I will make a point of coming over to you for a chat and to compare notes. Mines down 30mm on Eibachs and Im loving it ;)

Had enough of it want a change and found somin i can have so looking at intrest on the parts as want to go back to standard less some one wants to buy the car as it is....

Well unless you wanna come all the way up here to swap them over mate no not really looking at some one local i can meet with and swap them on the spot condition dosnt really matter long as there not FUCKED !
 
They are pretty bad but good point mr hazard, hmmm's

cant really afford the weitecs atm. Bugger, what about your top secret plans then?
