My Monaco blue 172 pics

Hi all just wanted to introduce myself. I’m Tom from Uxbridge, had my 172 for about 4 years now. I’ve had quite a few hot hatches in the past, The clio has been great while I’ve owned her and never let me down. A pleasure to drive and puts a smile on my face and has suprised many of my mates! I feel they are one of the last examples of honest hot hatches, with everything being small engines with turbos slapped on nowadays.
Anyway here’s some pics. Mods are the Wheels, eibach sport line springs, cup spoiler and k&n air filter

Really? It seems every time I search eBay there’s loads of Monaco blues on there! And they either don’t sell or go really cheap!

that’s why I love these cars, so much car for the money, and sure to be a future classic soon enough now they’re reaching their 20’s!

468 Monacos made, I've killed 2 of them and own 1. I've seen at least another 20 broken for parts just in the last few years. I'd say we're down to around 400 now 😂

Keep hold of it if you can. It'll be one of those cars in a few years time where people stop and stare

Thanks man! I’ve definatley noticed they’ve started turning a few heads, I don’t see many 1*2 around at all day to day, I take it to a car show near me every year and im suprised at how many people want to have a peek and a chat

There’s a good one on there at the moment. More highly (but I’d say fair) priced compared to others but I still think these cars are a lot for the money. Unbelievable that they’re still hovering around the 2k mark imo
