In terms of storage, you get that; there is a large cubby hole behind the seats with two doors. The second picture shows it with one open. It's not so bad, you could fit an over-night bag in it and that's probably about it. The front boot is okay, I don't tend to use it though as you can't take the spare wheel out and fill it up because the alarm siren is exposed. Day to day, it's very quiet, the steering is light, but it doesn't feel over assisted, the clutch is lighter than a 1*2 but heavier than a MK1 MX5 if you've ever driven one. The gear change felt a little odd to me at first, but it's actually really nice - not notchy in the slightest and there's a nice weight to it. It's a very good drivers car with the hardtop on, feels like any other car with a proper roof; it's just a little soft when you take the hard top off, more so than I was expecting I think. It's probably on par with a MK1 MX5 with some chassis bracing.
It is lovely to live with day to day, great stereo, comfy seats and a fantastic heater which is kinda why I'm sad about having to get rid! Also, it's really really nice with the roof off completely, you can take up and above motorway speeds and still have your hair-do intact (majorly important for a hairdressers car) and you can still easily hear the radio. The engine is also fairly awesome. There's a huge chunk of torque everywhere above around 2,000rpm, and it starts to make a fantastic noise at around 6,000rpm. It's very linear in how it delivers power, there's no 'kick' once you're above 2,000rpm, it just effortlessly sails to the redline. I love it tbh!
EDIT: It also appears to be retardedly easy to work on. Exhaust lambda's are right in front of you as you open the bonnet, only thing that's a little tricky to get at is the throttle cable. All the steering column, front brakes/master cylinder are easy to get at and there's plenty of room.
& Thanks for the advice Gally!
