My new 172 cup,probably going to regret it

Brought a 4 owner 172 cup today,78,000 miles with almost full history and a damm loud ktec exhaust . I previously had a 182 with cup packs that had endless problems,then brought a 200 silverstone edition that I had to sell when I bought my house,got bored of the fiesta 1.4 tdci that I had, I knew I'd buy another bloody clio 1*2 sooner or later. I forgot how good they are

Won't regret a cup!! I've got a ktec cat back exhaust too. I love it, wife hates it! Cant imagine a time without a Clio RS now.

Check all the parts are actually cup items if you get any handling issues!
Naff all to go wrong on cup so just get out and enjoy it.

The poverty spec is pants for anyone but the driver!

Looks very nice, I am tempted to do the wheels on mine black.
Mine has been a headache to be honest, but I think I have finally sorted the worst of the issues with it.
I went back to a standard exhaust on mine, as although it wasn't too loud in the front the kids moaned about the noise in the back.

The only problem is that now the exhaust is quiet, I can hear all of the other noises.

id rather genuine. Ive heard a few patterns and they can be a bit droney form my experience.

It makes my clio as quiet as the Mrs 1.6 Ford Focus.

I forgot how good these cars are, been driving around in a 1.4 granny car for a year and a half, the cup's made me love driving again. also it's definitely quicker at the top end compared to the 182 I had a few years ago. As for the exhaust it's not to loud around town if you keep it below 2.5 k revs but it sounds savage above 4k revs on a twisty B road,it's also got a k&m air filter that adds to it. Great car

Thanks for the photo with black wheels;it has saved me photoshopping a photo of my Cup to see whether to re-finish my turinis in black.I'll stick with silver.
My car has a standard Renault exhaust; nothing wrong with it, not childishly loud, but have replaced the mounts with new Renault ones too.

Looks good. I've got some random Highoak (I think it's called) system on mine. It sounds good just bloody bangs off the axle at slow speeds and sounds awful when it does. Can't wait to get my Turini's on this week hopefully.

Also I've always wonder are they the correct Cup badges on the door pillars? Mine are missing. Did they say Cup 172 or just Cup.

Think you'll be in for a long wait. Rang Baldocks of wivelsfield for a genuine rear box for my 172 and was told they were on back order and wont get one till the end of july.
