Had this hand made yesterday from the Manifold Back, No Cat, No silencer - Very Loud, But good fun!!

This is the one I had before - A scorpion, But the box was so big We just couldnt get it any higher, so just thought I would do it properly - If anyone wants a scorpion backbox I think they have stored it there for me!

George you got a pic of the rear from a bit further back thinking of cutting mine in like that would like to see the whole of the back of the car please

bloody hard to do it straight though. I did it on the last one.

Best thing to do is cut it with a saw and the rap some sand paper aroiund a jar or something the right size and get sanding.

The garage had a special sander thing - Went straight through like butter, lol

is it really loud inside mate cos i had that on my saxo and it did my head in lol but yours does look sweet and no doubt with that 172 engine it will sound fast and mean as f*ck

Mate like you wouldnt believe - Burbling and sh*t!

However cant be the same as your one as was completely hand built, I dra=ew it and they made it on site. Is a specialist stainless steel place, the stainless is top quality - Feeling poor now though.

May look similar though

lol nah mate mine was totally different just was on about the noise i had mine made by exhausts uk bout 3 years ago went for a dtm style end was only a 1.1l but you cant believe how loud it was was silly for a car like that ended up having it quitenned down! they build it exactly how you want it i had a cat back full stainless steel system cost 330 iirc

That box is off the shelf tho surely? or are they made on site?

Oh Tom it is made on site matey. Really nice guys there too. I turned up at 4:45 and they closed at 5:30, But the guy who does it was checking my car out when I arrived and said he would work late to do it (nice bloke). So he gave me a can of john smiths and a fag and told me to wait lol. I was able to get involved to and help - was good fun, wish I had a ramp and tools to this kind of stuff though!!

They have taken out the baffles too on the system so it really is literally a straight through pipe from engine to what you can see above..

I just love it when you change from 4th to 3rd or 3rd to 2nd - Double the clutch and you get a lovely pop on gear change, hehe

Got it done in Battersea London mate - Would cost you about £260 just for the backbox
