My R32, OE Exhaust + Flapper Mod. *Videos*

Had the R32 for 4 months now, fuel was a shock at first but now I actually think its not too bad considering. Getting 260 miles to a tank with minimal motorway use.

Had a big month in May which included road tax, mot, service and insurance renewal. I was actually considering selling at one point. Over the last couple of weeks I've fallen in love with it again and just adore the noise!!

Took a couple of video's today, not the best as they were video'd on my iPhone and subsequently uploaded to Photobucket.

Awesome! I miss my old one,

Interestingly I did the flapper mod, and then reverted back to standard,

Then I had the OEM tips changed for 100mm ones, and this changed the sound for the better!

Random guess is it a flap in the exhaust that makes more or less noise modded to be open all the time?

Something like that. The flap stays closed at low revs and opens up higher up.

The flapper mod is very simple it keeps the flap open.

When idle the flap is open so removing/modifying the actuator pipe/bung leaves the flap open all the time.

Fact is that sounds proper awesome! I hope to hear it myself soon!

Even at low RPM, it sounds amazing.
