ok, so we start off this session with some midnight photos of icebergs as we travel through the night to our next location, one of the most beautiful on the trip!
so, we have an early morning start, and boy was it worth it, we are now in Paradise Bay, and it certainly lives up to its name, it is so beautiful. The bay is so calm too, the only ripples are the ones we are making in the zodiac. So no landing at this one, its a zodiac cruise, which is great.
And pretty much as soon as we got in there, we come across a minki whale! So we follow it in the zodiac, this was so much fun, following a whale in a dingy. Didn't get any pics unfortunately, I was just enjoying the ride and view on this one! Got my camera out afterwards though as we spotted a crab eater seal on an iceberg! There was some light snow too for this one, but not the driving sleet like the day before. Still needed my plastic raincoat on the lens though.
this is the video of us following the whale, i think we had just spotted it pop up so were making our way over to where it was, we don't get to see it in this vid but it shows how beautifully the calm the water is.

then we spot the crab eater seal as well.
not only is the seal cool, but the ice he's lying on is also amazing colours
