Cheers day, I'm happy with the aquadome but I was thinking something along the lines of a trackday aswell for CS?

This would involve liability insurance which would be a nightmare for the club to organise.

Ok people this is it the venue is set !http://www.billingaquadrome.com we have been given these dates 28/29June or 26/27July, im affraid to confirm this venue a decision had to be made so the 26/27 of july has been chosen. I am will be talking to the aquadrome tomorrow and i will be able to let everyone know via this thread and also new one will be started(will post link)about deposits and all info, thankyou to everyone who gave input to this thread and roll on the Nation CS meet

Right i have been in to contact with billing aquadrome and also with mark from Fcs. Billing aquadrome package i feel was not suitable for our needs but have another plan. From speaking to mark we felt that if we try to arrange a site near fcs on the same weekend as the show we could slightly merge both events this meaning everyone who wants will get track time in the day and can enjoy fcs to the full to with out having to travel home in the eve, this is still in the planning so watch this space

If we do what Baggins is suggesting it will cover all bases. It has the oppertunity to be a huge thing as FCS normally has a huge CS turnout, there are many pubs and clubs nearby so we can have a night out and we can also sing and dance around a camp fire.... I'm sticking firmly with 'my car is my tent' though

A lot of people including myself had been planning on staying in the hotels as per previous years.

ClioSport normally takes over Lutterworth, Markfield and Northampton Travelodges each year.

This might affect some of the people on the list of potential attendees that has been posted.

A lot of people including myself had been planning on staying in the hotels as per previous years.

ClioSport normally takes over Lutterworth, Markfield and Northampton Travelodges each year.

This might affect some of the people on the list of potential attendees that has been posted.

I think that people would be up for camping as it will save them a few pennies, and everyone knows cs i full of penny pinchers

I think we need to get together and sort out what we can do for this meet. All area reps welcome to provide their input also.

Last year some of the North east lot went to Wicksteed camping site not far from Rockingham, at the same site RTOC had organised a big meet and were all staying there the site was happy for them to be there too, we booked up but not as a group but when we arrived they asked if we were part of the car groups and directed us to large field reserved for the car groups.
The site was basic but some of us were planning to do this again this year, there is also a Tesco and resturants including pizza hut and nandos a five minute drive away from the site

Well we looked on the website its a tenner a night per tent, seeing as your getting in early I'm sure they might be able to reserve a whole field, I'll see how many more North East members we can get interested we had a decent turn out last year

Sounds good! I'm sure they'll be ok with it with RTOC being there last year, they even put little posts in the ground with the RTOC logo on directing the members to their field, and with the list you have going i'm sure they'd be happy to have us

Yeah thats true batman had some serious problems last year I forgot about that if there is space either side of the speed bumps you can drive on the grass but some are right next to trees :dapprove:

lol yeah batman said when we last spoke he had issues!.....the first speed bump i come to i failed dramaticly.....my old 5 acctually grounded out felt i like i was on a rocking horse at one point!!!.................not good

Yeah it was horrible,I think the tree cutting is the way forward anyone have space for a chainsaw in their boot along with the camping gear
