Ok everyone i have spoken to wicksteed and they are willing to accommadate us for this event. I am currently finding out prices and securing dates and also going through all the official stuff to get this booked, so please be patient with us and watch for more info, hopefully be confirmed within next couple of days

What did they say when you spoke to them, did it take some negotiating, or were they pleased to accommadate the group despite the high numbers, although i'm sure there will be a few drop out closer to the time

They were good did take a little bit of sweet talk because some renault owners went there last year and did not set a very good example. Just waiting to hear back from them now

Yeah they were the RTOC lot,there were people in caravans in the opposite field telling them to shut up!! I remember being woken up to someone shouting I will cut ya!! Pretty hilarious. Lights are a must this year we couldnt see a single thing once it was dark

There will be strict rules and regs this year, i have a letter that people will be recieving when everything confirmed, what we have to remember is this is a family park in the middle of summer, plenty of respect good behaviour and not letting cliosport.net get a bad name. If we want to do these meets and be welcome whenever and wherever we go good behaviour is a must. No bad behaviour or breaking of site rules will be tolerated, but i know that everyone wont let the club down because i trust you guys

But i'm sure it will be successful everyone's local meets from different regions have been trouble free as far as i'm aware anyway. And a good opportunity to put faces to the names on here

There is not any bans imposed just have to respect camp rules, if gonna stay up late remember that there are other people ther with kids, drive carefully and behave we wont have any problems

can say that rtoc defo didnt obey rules music blaring till late, we got asked to turn our music off and we did was only marks car playing tunes quietly but rules are rules, can safely say camping was one of the highlights of last year

were planning on staying fri,sat and sun to extend the fun

saying that shaking this old couples tent in the middle of the night screaming wasnt exactly sticking to the rules lol

Ok everyone i have heard back from Wicksteed and there events manager has agreed for us to go BUT i need the ok from there MD before i can say this is official but myself i dont think its going to be a problem. As soon as i get the ok Pm`s will be sent out to everyone. Im not sure on the numbers we will be allowed but this will be done on a first come first served basis im affraid. I have forms ready to send out when i get the ok and i iwill need these returned to me asap. Thanks again to everyone who has paid interest in this and look forward to seeing you there(providing we get the ok from the MD:S )lol

I can announce that the dates will be as follows :- 20/21/22 of june. For all those going to the French Car Show Wicksteed is nice and close to Rockingham speed way. So therefore you have both events in the same weekend so niether lose out on attendees.

Yes mate thats why we are having the national meet on the 20/21 so that everyone can then go on to FCS afterwards as they are close to each other.

Ok i will explain this. We are having the national meet at wicksteed park, Northamptonshire. The park is close to rockingham speedway, venue for FCS. The idea is we meet at wicksteed on the friday, spend friday and saturday night there. We all attend FCS on the sunday then when FCS is finished we then head back to wicksteed(those who want to) for another evening then head home on the monday. The basic idea is to have our event in the same weekend as FCS so neither event suffers with people having to make a choice of which one to attend, we can all do both. I am arranging the 3 nights as some people will travel from afar to go to FCS, so they can stay sunday night at wicksteed so being able to enjoy FCS to the full without having to leave early. Hope this make sense to everyone.
