Need a wiring diagram!

Right..2 subs and 1 amp. All are 1ohm stable. I've been told to run them at 1ohm rather than at 2.

When i was running one, i ran it at 2ohms basically like.... one wire from one negative to postivive,then another from another negative to positive then a wire from another negative and postive to the amp. The amp is dual voice coil.

Running at 1ohm though i'm not 100% i know i have to basically link all negatives then one side goes to amp and all postives together then one side to the amp but i think i diagram will help me out really

is it not a case of running the subs a 1ohm as wel as the amp? or 2ohm's for the subs then at 1ohm at the amp

Did you look at the diagrams?

That will wire 2 dual voice coil 4 ohm subs into 1 ohm then you just need to sort the amp out into 1 ohm i cant tell you how to do that as it differs between amps. Which judging by the way you said you had them wired before they were.

amps dont have voice coils so god knows what you meant with the dual voice coil bit for the amp.

lol i ment subs sorry yeah i believe thats how i've got it wired and running from 1 channel of the mono amp

Why i said judging by the way he said he wired it and what he was running sounded like dual 4 ohm coils.

from what he said it sounds like it is all in series but doesn't say what impeadance the coils are

just said it was 2 ohms
