Need to sell the 182 - Ideas?

  SLK 350
Will be starting my new job in London on the 10th March, and therefore would like to get rid of the 182 before then preferably. It's for sale on the link below and on PH, but only had a few simple enquiries from PH:

Just wondering where people had the most luck in the past, I'm considering putting it in the Trader, may also be worth me popping to a stealer for a price do you think?

Anyway, just looking for some inspiration on ways to sell it, been on the market for a month or so now but understand it's a bad time of the year with fears of recession which I expect slows it.

as you say, slow market at the mo mate.
For some reason the market has nose dived really badly and this has hammered the used market big time. Plus all 05 - 54 - 04 - 53 etc's are obviously out of warranty. Given the slow market I think unless your willing to accept rock bottom for it then it might be better to try and keep it.

IF however that quite simply isnt an option, 6995 on the trader will probably get some activity with the calls, which is a joke I know, but definitely a buyers market at the mo, but the effect of going below 7k might be enough to get someone who thinks 7500 is too dear, if you know what I mean.

In terms of innvoative ideas, you could true gumtree, local rag as sometimes they can give some production. Not amazing but maybe a starter for 10.

Such a pain in arse the market has slowed up

to be fair, the pics don't do it justice mate.

great price, great spec and write up... but for me, the first thing i see in an advert is the images. Pics like this will make a difference...

best of luck mate.

Inferno is a very marmite colour as well, you either love it or hate it. That then has a knock on efect when trying to sell the car.

Try the Trader, I got a lot more responses there than any other site. Stick a sign in the back window? Think the problem with cars like these at the moment is that they are reaching a price where young drivers can afford them, until the insurance quote comes through. When I put my 172 (in silver) up for sale, I got loads of interest. With the 182 (RB), it was much more difficult to shift, had a few calls from people who weren't interested when I told them the colour? Weird.

I sold my rb 182 Cup today. Had it in the Trader for 5 weeks. Dec and Jan.
Got hardly any response except for the guy who bought it. One's all you need lol.

Unlike Warren , the main hook for my buyer was the colour. lol
