Sorry mate. When you have been here a while you will notice the love for turinis, every car needs them. Tbh they do look good but I'm from the dark side and will resist the force.

I have contemplated selling it but can't decide on what to get next. Clio is spot on, looks ok, goes well etc.

Not me personally, but quite a few people from here go.

Not a fan of watching cars go round and round....and round for 24 hours then.

Understandable I suppose:tearsofjoy:

Back to clio's, how big of a job is it to fit the cup spoiler and splitter?

No mate, hate every type of motorsport there is. Splitter, ive got a fabia one (£12), screw/staple it to the underside of the bumper. Spoiler is 6 screws, and a slight change of the wiring for the brake light, or use laguna wiring.

Hates a strong word, how come?

Is it something a normal garage could do (the spoiler) or best to go to a specialist?

Do you like watching rallying?

Its a cable mate from the laguna, so you could literaly just unplug it if you didnt want to chop anything

It's seriously easy. Go inside the car and there's 2 screws on the left, 2 screws on the right. (Torx). Remove these, and then there's two screws in the middle.
The spoiler then lifts up, you can unplug the connector, and then pull out the washer tube.

You may need to then extend the wiring on the car/buy the extension cable, and also get an extra bit of hose for the washer.
Then it's just reverse.

If I buy the extension wiring what is it I'm buying, as I what would I search for ?

Sorry, like I said I don't do anything electrical

It was literally an extra plug that goes into the brake light, and then goes into the loom on the car. To be honest if you buy a cup spoiler it's most likely to already have this. Mine came with the connector, which then led to it being a straight fit to my 182.

Cool, I'll keep an eye out for one. Got a few more important bits to find first TBH but can't hurt looking.

Welcome. Definitely swap the wheels for smaller ones. 17" wheels ruin the dynamics of these cars. You need some tyre to lean on. 16" is what came on the 182s, the first 172 had 15s though. Either will work but I think on the shape you have, 15s look a bit small unless the car is lowered.

Any idea how much I could lower the car on 16's without running into any issues (rubbing etc)

Cooksport springs lower it nicely, or go for coilovers. Bilsteins come highly recommended from those who have used them.
