New 182 owner.....love it :)

Cooksport springs lower it nicely, or go for coilovers. Bilsteins come highly recommended from those who have used them.

Aren't coilovers like £8/900?
I'm already looking at wheels which are likely to cost me near a grand with tyres, expensive place to hang out this 😂

Welcome along bud. Glad to see so many in here helping you along already.

I'd certainly swap the wheels over first, don't worry about the arch gap for a little while, then switch over to a set of Bilstein Coilovers. They're £640 and they'll change your car dramatically (from what I am told & read on here)

Don't think it looks any better than mine to be honest (apart from the colour)

Decided the wheels are staying at least until I've sorted some more important things.

Anyone know where the nearest specialist to Manchester for cambelt and dephaser is ??

If you like them and it drives ok, keep them. Do look a bit big but hey ho.

Look nice with a cup spoiler too.

And the plastic packet taken off your magic tree, it looks s**t with that hanging off it, they are only a quid each, you dont need to preserve the aromas.

I think youll notice the wheels when you see others in the flesh mate. And smaller wheels mean cheaper tyres!

Fog light is all packaged btw mate.

Cheers bud

ETA- was parked next to one at Sainsbury's today with the standard wheels, honestly didn't think it looked that bad still. Maybe it's just me

Yeah I'd be buying

15/16 with decent tyres. You will be amazed at the difference

I'll be changing the tyres in the next couple of weeks but wheels will be staying a fair bit longer I'd guess.
I really don't think the ride is as bad as what people are assuming, nobody has been in the car with me and commented that it rides like s**t, even my misses doesn't mind it.

No mate not saying it does. After owning 6/7 clios the big plus is handling. Decent matching all round tyres and smaller wheels will transform the car.

Totally agree on the tyres, the ditch finders were just what was on it when I bought it. Think the seller must of stuck them on just to sell it as they was brand new, as in still had the stickers on.

At my local specialist I dropped my car off, got the bus into town and then did a bit of shopping and lunch.

Cool, will give them a ring over weekend.
It was only done 20k ago but not at a specialist so I'm a bit worried after reading threads on here that they've not done it properly.

That would be good.
I'm just a bit concerned that it sounds a bit diesel'y, not sure if it's just paranoia after reading about the dephaser.
