One of these on the client site I'm working at, at the moment. Do think they look really nice and the interior is proper funky - it's just the price tag I can't get over. Really not sure if I was spending £12k what I'd be going for.

What are the running costs like on these little beauts? How stiff is the suspension from standard?

Running costs arent too bad ive been getting 35 -39MPG on a decent run at 70mph

around town drops to about 22-24MPG and below 20's when really giving it some

suspension is rather firm not sure if i could deal with it on a daily basis but as a weekend car its perfect

ye on the trip down to TDF was practically 70miles sat between 70-80mph and the Ave Mpg sat at 36

on the way back i reset again but gave it a few more revv's and it dropped to 29ish

Pfft thats not dirty... mines a right state :p

And my second timing chain tensioner has just packed up, thats the second in two months :(

  Turbos.
Some nice mods. I think i would have gone for CF interior bits, rather than the matt black. Did you wrap the steering wheel innards as there is a missing JCW logo, and the finish doesn't quite look right? Also, CF downtubes look pretty cool (especially as the standard ones are very cheap plastic). Would also get the alcantara gearstick/handbrake gaiter for that little touch to match the wheel... not exactly cheap though :D

cheers dude the wheel inserts are just wrapped in di-noc trying to steer clear of a proper full on CF interior as my dad has it in his JCW so would feel like im copying lol

i do need to change the gaiters tho as ive got a small rip in my handbrake one!

Yep mines rattling like a tractor... or was. Seems to magicly fixed itself after a damn good thrashing last night!

I'm also pleased to say my exhaust is f**ked. De-cat and manifold seems to have removed my baffles and spread them all over the back of my car... sound ace through and spits flames :rasp:

My major concern was my quite steep driveway and actually getting over the lip of the drive once lowered.

this is the gap now!! maybe 1mm of clearance and it does scrape should somebody decide to sit in the passenger seat but its worth it!

I love these but as stated, they hold their value exceptionally well! Good if your selling, not so much when you want one (Me) lol

Outstanding additions pal

  Turbos.
Not sure, just too much going on for me! I know its all standard, but you've got the showy wheels, black arch trims, orange running lights, red brakes, red mirror covers, silver fog surrounds...

I'd be on a colour coding mission if it were mine!
