Bought the car on monday 19th of October ( 66k , 1 owner £4300 )
found out the cars centre section of the exhaust is Fuuuuuucked so just ordered a k-tec supersorts exhaust.
Will order up an induction kit or perharps just another filter I'm open to suggestions i would like more of a roar from the engine but also want more power.
I have read a few threads in here about the throttle response, In my car in 1st gear no problems in low down revs but in 2nd to 4th in low revs between 1500k and 3500k the power delivery seems poor is this normal? but of course at aroun 4k - 5k revs the vvt kicks in and im off.
Also was curious as to why the accelarator has an extra point in it where you can push it too the floor but i am rite in saying there is no need no push it rite to the floor? it just seems like the power deliver and response is better when foot is too the floor.
I will be looking to get the bph to around 200bhp with the exhaust filter and remap and it doesnt seem to difficult as i have been told with a remap it pushes the bhp from 182 to 192.
one more thing that has been bothering me is my mpg, around glasgow i average around 20mpg and on motorway i average 35mpg i know 20mpg aint normal but i have only just bought the car and have been driving it rather enthusiastilcy.
its done 66k and is due a service done but it has already had the cambelt done so any ideas how much my next service should cost and what exactly would need replaced.
