been removing the rear disks today... managed to snap a caliper carrier bolt that mounts to the hub when removing :( had to drill it out in place (couldnt be fucked to remove the hub as its such an arse ache!) eventually got it out and removed it just got to get a new bolt now and thats not easy :(

other side went fine though.... then just got to remove the front disks and finish wiring in the rear fog light, gonna remove my downpipe and get the wideband boss welded on then wrap it before i stick it back on :) also need somewhere to mount the gauge lol!

like said do you mean pip?? if so yeh he has a good rep... at the same time most rotary tuners in the uk have good and bad rep... so far pip is known for building a 4 rotor and a few other cool lumps like a guy called matt who runs a 3 rotor peripheral port lump thats NA which is cool...

if it was me building an engine again i would get Oldone/era to do the porting, and build it, if you supply parts you look at 400 quid for porting and building... then just sling it in your self... im semi tempted to pull mine again and get a bridge port slapped on it, though i will wait till winter when i have a unit to get it done.... then re:works to map it...

gaz get your aem wired in... its so simple... just get the sensor mounted at the bottom of your downpipe

Yeah, maybe it was Pip! I looked at a 2 Rotor at the weekend with 490bhp N/A, but to get decent fuel economy for a 90min race it was 410bhp. Still plenty though!

ooo more details? might know the car and can give you some extra info...

Sensor has been in for ages, just never got round to finding somewhere to get the wires to it/banging a holesaw through the trans tunnel. Nor did I get round to making my proper gauge setup rather than the pikey affair I have now. Nor did I get the wire I need from work while I still had access to the leccy's workshop. Story of my life tbh, never getting round to it.

ok needed to make my oil drain bigger on the turbo... so had to order these -10an parts... closest guess to how much that lot cost :( 4 fittings and the hose wins a goldfish :(

lol once its mot'd yeh adey looks like im gonna get a new ecu too my apexi power fc is being a prick!

Do you really need all those gauges? For me it makes cars look really cheap! Worst ones are on when people do them on the A pillar.

kinda yeh lol, problem with rotaries going pop is heat, so i have water and oil temp... oil pressure to make sure it dont drop too low! boost for well boost... and AFR to make sure im not running lean which will lead to det and POP! so yeh lol....

hope your shooting big, based on power to weight youll need 400 bhp

what ecu you thinking? thought power fcs were the dogs?

should be around 500bhp....
will prob just get another power fc, think mine has gone tits up due to a dodgy engine loom and too much voltage during a jump start :( it works... it just keep chucking a wobly and now the commander just is displaying random bullshit lol!

LOL! neither of you were there!!! plus i didnt get any trouble for it :P

got the final parts i need...

new ecu... f**king hate apexi but nothing else is around the same price... next ecu would be costing me over 1k...

finished making up my oil drain... was the biggest b*****d ever to make and fit as -10an hose doesnt like to bend too easy!

if you can afford it go for a Link ecu... i want the link rotary unit... but 1200 is just too much atm...

however they have things like anitlag, launch, spark cut limiter, etc all as standard... and most of them come with complete engine looms included...

I'll look into that. Tempted to ditch the MAF and go MAP.

with link you can... loom comes with a 3 bar map sensor i think, friend of mine is running it on his 14a... with a 33gts box and its like 480 bhp! he ran one on a scooby... with the ecu he had on before it was 380 bhp and without any other mods just a change of ecu and slightly less boost it ran 460!
