new exhaust piccy, 182 rep on 172

got my new exhaust the other day because the standard heap of s**t split and fell off. fitted it took a while because i had to cut the holes, dont think i did a bad job for sayin its the biggest job ive done on my car yet.
sounds real nice i think, its quite with a nice soft burble and its abit loader higher in the revs exactly what i wanted.

oh and the rubber mount thingy needs replacing so when thats sorted itll lift the exhaust and itll sit better in the holes.

got em on the front ill sort the back when i have the dollar along with panel filter side repeters and possibly wheel refurb in anthracite.

looks good, but surely when you move the exhaust the other side is going to move !!! causing the other side not to sit in the centre ??

im just moving it up so it sits higher both are inline pic looks like the left pipe isnt but it is.

hard to tell from the pic but from what i see the tailpipes dont seem to be sitting central in the cutouts :S

The one thing i prefer about the 172 is the fact it doesn't have the 2 pipes...But looks a decent rep.

yeah the serounds dont sit properly i think i have to glue them to keep them in there place.

yeah i know that but i dont think ive cut the holes properly its a right mission on your own so when i push them in they come out becuase the holes aint right and the mounts come off, if you catch my drift.

i did the same to mine, ok its on a 1.2, but had to do the same thing. the rubber cut out surronds i glued on using the glue chavs use to stick bodykits togthe with! worked a treat.

Also i know what you mean about bedding in. mine did that. and might just be me, but sounds louder when its cold outside! weird!

yes they do bed in a little, brand new stainless steel inner echos the noise, very boomy right now, give it a few hundred miles and it will quiet down, same noise but less rasp ...... mine did anyway
