New Ktec 182 Ktr/janspeed supersports exhaust

Just a quick one, I just purchased a New Ktec 182 Ktr/Jan speed super sports exhaust , and when I first started it the system was really really raspy/loud, after driving it for approximately 1 mile the noise disappeared and now it is pretty quite. Can anybody shed some light on why this happened? is there some sort of substance inside the new baffles that once warm/ran in changes the exhaust note?

i have the same system dude it's still quite raspy but did get quieter with driving ! A mile is a bit weird though ... Normally takes longer than that !

Yeah I have checked, the system is fully sealed, its got me totally baffled (no pun intended)

This is what I thought, I did think it sounded too loud after first driving it, it was really offensive, bearing in mind that my last car was a Vtr with super sprint straight through exhaust so im used to loud exhausts as well. Has got me totally stumped. A mate was there when I did it and he was like wtf? lol

Sorry mate, just read it lol. So its normal then? I have had new exhausts in the past but this didn't happen.

Mine was the same, and Fred phoned me with the exact same problem, a good blast up the road, and it changed completely.

it's completely normal for any exhaust to change in tone once it cokes up a bit. It's only the very un-silenced boxes it won't make a difference on
