granted the skyline is quicker but the jap engine has far better products and newer engineering to allow this do you know to get a cosworth to over 500bhp your looking at £20k with labour of course thats not just engine thats brakes then bigger wheels and cooling system lol

mate a 200bhp clio wouldnt not beat my saph dont be silly, i love the clio im not dissin clios but i have a raced a 182trophy with exhaust, remap and a filter prob not 200bhp but i left it by around 4 car lengths before we even hit over 100mph, mate i beat 911's and gt3's for fun down the strip, as soon as that turbo spins up its all over for most cars i can do my mates 410bhp evo VIII as he loses way to much power in 4wd, i cant be doing with arguing or bragging so ill leave it at that but we wont agree and i can be doing with argumets i know it will beat a clio and u know it wont :quiet:

Ok mate, fair enough BUT ive Seen a corsa LET anhilate a cossie runing equal power (or thereabouts) so im sure a clio running 200-220bhp would easily be on your bumper long enough to worry you.

mini valver he said it would prob would be close on his arse but after 85mph it would be over, the clio would do very well against him in a 0-60 sprint, in a 1/4 mile sprint the cossie would be more at home a mile chase the cossie should be very confortable,
he said on a tight track the clio would win hands down no doubt about it, the cossie would gain on straight but stuggle to shift his big arse on corners lol

Definately. Just voicing my opinion that a 350bhp cossie is no quicker on a UK road OR strip than any mildly tuned hot hatch such as the 1*2! Basically unless youve got a mile long road to race along you'll be waaay back. Or a roundabout to go sideways around

he said agreed on the public roads it would be close on trackday sprints it would be a better race, but if his plans of putting a cossie lump in the xr2 go well that will be mental lol, but now he want a bike i think his car days are soon over hes 24 and had 25 cars now all been some sort of sporty car lol

0-60 in 5 seconds is pretty slow for a GT3... I've been in one doing it in 4.2 seconds. Again, 400bhp Evo isn't THAT fast. Good launch to 30, after that any RWD car with the same power is going to start clawing back.

like he said it depends on the drivers abilitys his could do better then his 0-60 time but hes not sprint expert, weve seen a 400bhp escort cosworth driven up the sprint by a pleb get beaten by a integra type r driven by plato at traxs few years ago lol, its all down to driver abilities

clio websites will be biased to clios the ford websites will be biased to fords go on the ford wesite and say that they'll just laugh there more interested in racing jap cars anyway at ten of the best
